Tris works closely with individuals, families, family offices, foundations and endowments formulating and implementing investment strategies designed to pursue their financial objectives and goals. Tris manages a limited number of client relationships alongside a team of specialists who advise and consult on investments, trusts and estates, credit and traditional banking.
Originally from New Hampshire, Tris graduated from the University of Vermont in 1999 with a BA in Political Science. Upon graduation, Tris started his career in the financial services industry in New York and has over 15 years of experience. The majority of his career was spent with MetLife (formerly CitiStreet) as an institutional retirement plan consultant in Hanover, NH. Tris first moved to New Orleans with his family in 2009 to earn his MBA from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business with a concentration in finance and energy. While at Tulane, Tris worked for Johnson Rice & Co. in the equity research department. Immediately after earning his MBA, Tris joined an Independent Registered Investment Advisor in Portland, OR until he was drawn back to New Orleans. He was most recently with J.P. Morgan Private Bank for four years, where in addition to his client responsibilities, he managed the analyst program, served on the Energy Sector committee and was instrumental in developing J.P. Morgan’s practice in North Mississippi and Southwest Louisiana.
Both Tris and his family fell in love with New Orleans and have committed to making South Louisiana their home. In addition to spending time exploring his adopted city with his wife and two sons, Tris enjoys working on and riding motorcycles. He is a member of New Orleans Motorsports Park and The Round Table Club. Tris services on the board of The Living School - a start-up charter school in New Orleans.
